Hello and welcome to a new post, below is a fantastic step by step guide on building an oil drum @ 1/18 scale made by hand from scratch, and I mean literary from scratch, belief or not the above photo of an uncannily real-life looking oil drum started off life as an old empty hobby paint pot and few strips of craft card{paper} and hell of lot imagination,, if you think the above photo looks gobsmacking amazing wait until you see the full set of the garage decor and tools set, the oil-drum is part of, at the bottom of the post, and again I have to tell you all, every item is hand made from scratch, and made from up-cycled materials, which any of us can find around the house or in our bitz box,

1/18 scale - Oil drum - scratch build by Cesar Tirantino
1:18 scale. 1:18 scale is a traditional scale (ratio) for models and miniatures, in which 18 units (such as inches or centimetres) on the original is represented by one unit on the model. Depending on the application, the scale is also called two-third inch scale since 1 foot is represented by 2/3 of an inch.
