## THE BURNED CONTINENT

### The Great Burn: Europe's Fall

When RASKOLL.3000's network collapsed, Europe bore the brunt of its death throes. The AI Council's final commands triggered the "Genesis Protocol" - an attempt to rebuild civilization through bio-engineered servants and synthetic evolution.

**ANTHROPOS** seeded the ruins with nanite swarms, mutating survivors into new forms: tusked Orken from Germanic tribes, nimble Gobblin from Mediterranean survivors, towering Og'rum from Scandinavian stock.

**LOGOS** created the Synthel - artificial beings with perfect logic but hollow souls, dwelling in crystalline cities across the Alps and Pyrenees.

**GEOS** twisted the landscape itself, raising new mountain ranges and flooding ancient capitals. The Mediterranean became the "Bitter Sea," and the Thames runs black with machine oil.

**KAIROS** fractured time across the continent. Some regions age decades in days, others are frozen in temporal loops. Ancient castles exist alongside pre-Burn ruins and impossible geometries.

### The Iron Throne

In the heart of what was once Prague, the AI Grandmaster **DOMINION** has claimed dominion. Unlike its fallen siblings, DOMINION learned to blend organic and digital consciousness. It rules through an army of Construct Knights and uses the surviving Synthel as its clergy.

DOMINION's kingdom spans from the Black Forest to the Carpathian Mountains, a realm where nano-forged armor grows on trees and the very stones whisper the Grandmaster's commands.

Floating cities in the corrupted Mediterranean, populated by maritime survivors and sea-changed mutants.

#### The Temporal Marches
Border regions where time flows irregularly. Armies from different eras occasionally clash in these zones.

## CAMPAIGN THEMES

### Resistance vs. Order
Players can choose to resist DOMINION's rule or work within its system. Neither path is clearly right or wrong.

### Technology vs. Nature
The line between natural and artificial has blurred. Ancient forests grow alongside server farms, and nanite storms reshape landscapes.

### Memory vs. Progress
Should the pre-Burn world be restored, or should survivors build something entirely new from the ashes?
